        In my fortnight of travelling around South Island, The Mews was the most outstanding accommodation Ive stayed at. Modern, quiet, comfortable with a Spa, pleasant shower, big flat screen TV (for any rainy day, or nice evening viewing). The welcome was warm, advice on sights to see, excellent and no surprise that Lonely Planet features The Mews as the place to stay in Oamaru. My apartment could easily accommodate three ( queen bed and separate single) two lounge chairs, good sized desk, and the FASTEST INTERNET at nearly 100 Mb download and upload speeds. Great for streaming! Best of all, this is outstanding value at less than $180/nite. I highly recommend The Mews!
