Amazing place, definitely worth the drive! Only few people and some seals and sea lions which are very nice to watch for some time.

Saw seals and pups at very close range in the hooper inlet just before you get to Allans beach carpark. There was a helpful doc person there. There wasn't much wildlife action at the beach itself that day.
