(Translated by Google) From the parking lot you have about 20 min walk down to the beach. When you arrive you will find a beach of fine sand and quite beautiful turquoise water and walking to your left is the cave. The cave is a crescent of about 200M more or less, you enter through one side and exit through the other. The cave itself is beautiful. The most pathetic and incredible thing is that a beach is private! Not only that the entrance to the cave is economically exploited, it's that you couldn't even be on the beach if you wanted to.

Lovely beach, and the outside of the caves are pretty, but inside youll get bitten by bugs. The guy manning the gate was unnecessarily slow resulting in a half hour wait just to get in. He tried to tell us it was all about making sure everyone was safe and then gave us his safety spiel which involved pointing out where the track was and the toilets were, both of which we could see and to park next to the previous car which we were going to do anyway. Its hard to explain just how slow and humbly he was. If you wanna see some really cool caves and not have to pay go to Long Beach, past Port Chalmers in Dunedin.
