Eichardt's Private Hotel

Superb five star hotel right in the centre of town. Superbly located close to the waters edge. We stayed in a suite right at the front of the hotel with perfect views. Suite customers have complimentary canaps and drinks every day from 5:30-6:30pm which was a welcome break from the bustle of Queenstown. Every member of staff we met were extremely helpful and the suite itself was extremely well appointed.

I have stayed in fabulous hotels, all over the world and would have to say that Eichardts is amongst the best. We had a luxurious room overlooking the lake, well styled, comfortable, functional and clean. Service was exceptional in the hotel, restaurant and bar with staff very knowledgeable about the wine, local produce and attractions to visit. I could not fault anything. Thank you, our stay was incredible and relaxing, what you want from a holiday.

We called Eichardts hotel on the morning of of 11th of Feb to ask for breakfast options. The Grille staff mentioned we could walk in to the restaurant and that the breakfast is served till 11Am. When we walked into the restaurant 45 mins after our call around 9:30, we were told that they arent taking any walk ins. The breakfast menu was displayed outside the restaurant which was a clear indication that the restaurant is open for walk ins. The waitress we dealt with didnt have any consideration of accomodating for 2 people despite us having called earlier. This place looks great from outside and perhaps the food is also highly rated but the hospitality and processes could be improved.
