Very exciting trip - including mini-bus trip to start point on the Shotover, avoiding myriad mountain-bikers. Safety is highly important to this company - from safety gear (water is cold !) to understanding the rafting commands and practice on the flat stretches before we hit the first rapid. Josh, our guide, was very good - yes we did flip the raft, and got stuck on a rock but we all got to the end in one piece, and it was definitely a very memorable experience.
