        Unseasonally mild winter weather enabled us to travel in the campervan to some out-of-the-way magic places. Tapanui is one of these! Whitechapel Gifts is a delightful treasure trove of cool gifts, beautiful architecture and great hosts! Call in, it is so worth it! I will be back, for shopping and to appreciate the lovely garden, and factoring in more time for cycling! PS. Do check out the carpet...very beautiful quality pile in uplifting colours

        Cute wee gift store that rents out scooters, bikes and scooters. We picked up some beeswax soap that was locallyish sourced and really affordable. Most of the gift shop side of the stuff was from French country which isn't our tastes but there was plenty there if that's what your into. The whole place is really well kept and has a lovely outdoor area.
