Very friendly people. They were always helpful on the phone while booking. Picked us in time from airport and took us to their shop. Car was already waiting there for us. Very clean car. Very professional. No time waste. No hidden cost. Owner Paul is a good man and his wife Jo in the office is a lovely person. There was a problem in the car they gave me. They didnt know about it bcoz that problem only could be felt when driving on hills. I went back and told Paul about it. He helped me straight away. Gave me another similar car without any question asked. Very happy from the service. Will definitely use them in future and will recommend to my friends.

Super lousy racist owner. We will definitely not use their service anymore. What a shame that this type of services exist in Queenstown. We have visited Queenstown many years but last years experience the worst from this company. Truly bad service and review. Would not recommend.

This is the worst car rental experience back to July 2022, and the owners were really rude and racises, they are too horrible to deal with. No customer service. A couple of mistakes been made, without apology, make our trips were hard during the midnight of winter.

This is a review for NZ Rent A Car Queenstown Branch. We had an incredible bad experience on 16/07/2022 however couldn't share our experience on Google at the time as the owner turned their Google review function off straight after when the incident occured. 'GET OFF THE CAR, HOP IN THAT SHUTTLE, TAKE AWAY ALL YOUR RUBBISH! ' This is what Jo, the owner of Rent A Car Queenstown, shouted to a full load of children. When we arrived to return the car on 16/07/22, we asked nicely if they could drop us off (group of 9) to the airport, this is part of their service anyway, the lady Jo started being so rude to us, shouting all the time and very impatient. We didn't do anything wrong, and thought she might be in a bad mood. We kept quiet until the moment when she's yelling at the kids. No manner at all when she talks, throughout the time she's been so demanding and I see NO customer service at all. Her husband Paul apologized to us later and said that because they were short of staff therefore required us to tidy up the car. This is totally understandable however we didn't say we wouldn't do it. We were just moving the luggage from the rented car to the shuttle and hadn't even get there for the rubbish. And to be honest, staff shortage has nothing to do with your customer service level. They shouldn't have been so rude and nasty to their customers due to this reason. BTW, they gave us the wrong locker# for car collection on the very first day when we arrived at 9pm and we didn't say anything or blame them. Queenstown is a travel city and each winter we go there to ski. In the last 5 years we had enjoyable time and received great customer services from all commercial businesses. This is absolutely my worst experience in QT & NZ ever! Kiwis are friendly and polite, and that's why NZ advocate for diversity and inclusion. I haven't been treated this bad in my last 20 years life in NZ. I don't recommend this Car Rental Company to anyone travels to QT! You go there for holiday and you all deserve a better customer service, not a shxt like what we have experienced.
