We have built two investment properties in partnership with the awesome team from David Reid Homes Queenstown. We were new to house building, investing and had busy lives. We needed a builder and design team we could trust to make decisions for us. Justine & Sam were awesome to work with on the design of the house, they did everything for us from picking fittings, flooring right through to paint colours. They also came up with lots of innovative ways to keep costs down and increase our rental potential. Our houses were built on time and on budget even with the interruption of Covid. Had a house built by David Reid Homes -Queenstown at Jacks Point during 2020/21 during covid shut-downs and travel restrictions. Living in Australia I was unable to travel to see the house at all during construction from beginning until completion. I was able to get over to do handover in April 2021 to see it for the first time. I own a building company in Australia so went through it thoroughly and I can honestly say I've never witnessed build quality like this anywhere! I could not find a thing at Handover that needed attention. The team were great with sending me weekly updates during construction with photos. Huge well done to the entire team and wouldn't hesitate recommending them for anyone that needs a house built in the Queenstown area.

We built our home with David Reid Queenstown remotely from Australia. From the moment we entered the show home (then in Caithness Court at Jack's Point) we could see they were a quality builder. In fact it was my dad (who has been in the building trade himself for years) who immediately said. 'This is your guy.' It was one of the best decisions we have ever made. Fraser and Abi and the team were brilliant and they have become our Queenstown family. The quality of the build is excellent. Attention to detail is fantastic and any small problems were attended to without any fuss at all. We love our home so much that we now live here (almost) full time. We would have no hesitation in recommending David Reid Queenstown in future and although we love our place so much we may be tempted to build again one day. When we went to DRH, we were coming off the back of a difficult experience with an architect and sky rocketing estimates, and Fraser, Abi and Justine gave us confidence we could have a great house at the right price. We couldnt be happier with the house - it reflects their professionalism and skill , plus their great logistics and systems. Great communication and transparent billing. Great after sales service. They take enormous pride in their work.
