5 stars for the restaurant meal. Outdoor setting was very picturesque and adequately heated. Pizza was amazing and so was the fried chicken. Excellent meal. 4 stars for the cellar door experience.

I booked a lunch at the bistro at 11:30am, but arrived a bit earlier so my partner and I could wander around the property. We went to the wine shop and the attendant was very helpful and showed knowledge about the wines they have helping us to choose one we would like the most. We also took some photos with the ambient decoration, which is lovely and appealing. For lunch we ordered a camembert for starter, lamb and pizza as mains. Everything was very tasteful and arrived quickly. The waitress also assisted us in choosing the right wine to pair with the food we ordered and it was a really tasty wine. As desert we ordered a pannacotta and a cheesecake, both very good as the rest of the meal. When we were almost finished the live music started (there is live music every Saturday from 1pm to 3pm), we stayed around a bit enjoying the music and then left with this great experience in our memories. I just want to say once again how all the staff we had contact with today was very friendly and helpful, the attention was remarkable!

We stayed at Kinross cottages when visiting Queenstown. Fantastic accommodation, luxurious bedding and the bonus was the serviced rooms everyday plus a beautiful bottle of creamy local milk replaced in the fridge everyday. The place was close to Arrowtown, Wanaka and Queenstown. The only minus was that we visited during the Christmas New Year 2022-23 and there were staff shortages so Kinross's restaurant itself was closed (they offered early takeout), and other pubs and places close by were also closing early. Arrowtown was our only late dinner option - but worked anyway. The staff were lovely and we also were offered a good winetasting giving us a taste of the region. Only one suggestion - breakfast options could be expanded to some warm items too - eggs perhaps.
