Leithen Valley Hunts, New Zealand

Our time at Leithen Valley was amazing. Rachel and her staff are warm and inviting. Our guide, Thomas was exceptional. My husband Ron was one happy hunter shooting an amazing Red Stag and Fallow Buck. And the scenery is second to none. If this is on your bucket list; dont wait. Go for it. You wont regret it.

Where do I begin! Covid pushed this trip back 3 hunting seasons but man was it worth the wait. Im a fairly avid hunter and I have never had more fun hunting that I did at Leithen Valley. What Rachel has created is hunting heaven on earth. The accommodations are excellent, the food amazing and the staff highly skilled. Hunting stags in NZ was a life long dream and Leithen over delivered. We had 6 couples in our group and all 6 of us tagged out hunting with our bows in 3 days. We also had an excellent time hunting fallow & wild goats. I 100% will be booking again so I have another amazing experience line up in this amazing place.

Truly world class in every aspect. The staff, guides, cooks and accommodations are all 5 star. Their top priority was to ensure we had an amazing hunt and plenty of opportunities to have a successful hunt! We loved every second of it and we given the opportunity at world class animals. Cannot say enough good things about Rachel and her entire staff all, so incredibly professional.

Its a hunters paradise My father and I have used several different outfitters overs the years. Leithen Valley is by far the best experience all around we have ever experienced. From the experienced guides, outfitter cooks, and housekeeping. Rach runs a well-oiled organization and everyone makes you feel at home while you are staying with them. Tons of game to see and shot opportunities for the hunters and the scenery is amazing. Cant say enough good things about this crew. My dad was able to harvest 3 animals at 70 yrs old!
