Wanaka Dental Practice | Lumino The Dentists

Went in for a year cleaning. Was good. Hygienist was super nice and helpful and kind but front of staff lady sitting at the second back desk was not nice at all. Stern, not friendly, demanding, unwelcoming. She over charged me even though they told me a certain price at the beginning, the appt wasn't even the hour they said it would be. Walked in at 11:10 and out at 11:50. That is not even 45min appt they said that everyone else has. And then when I brought up the price and length, the not nice lady decided to be rude and blame the price in the hygienist. And really shocked that no dentist came in to check my teeth as a final look over, I feel scammed. In my 25years of getting a cleaning done, I've always had a dentist come in a do a final check. Not coming back here again, very disappointed with the service. Following up on the feedback below from Lumino: It seems a show they are putting on, contacted them through the email and 3 weeks later, still have yet to hear from anyone from the clinic. Now it is confirmed I would DEFINITELY not recommend this company.

Hillary is the best in the biz. She did everything possible to make me feel comfortable pre & post treatment. Highly recommend her work and professionalism. Looking forward to using Wnaka Lumino in future.

I'd been putting off going to the dentist for some years after a bad experience getting a tooth removed in the UK. I decided to go see the Wanaka team for a check up and after that found out I needed 2 more appointments to get some work done. Naturally I was pretty nervous but Tony spent the time showing me the x-rays, talking me through the whole process and making me feel at ease. When it came to my wisdom tooth extraction, which was the grand finale, I honestly didn't feel a thing and it was out within 5minitues. 1 week later, no issues and I've already booked next year's check up appointment so I don't need to worry about remembering to book it. Highly recommend the wanaka team and thank you for getting my mouth healthy again.

Quick and easy appointment process while also making time at very short notice! I love Andries pragmatic and down to earth approach. He explains pricing and procedures clearly and consicely. Making sure you have all the information on what needs to be done and what is available. Has definitely made my start to 2022 a lot easier! :)

No definitely not recommend this place to anyone. They just experiment with your tooth and ruin everything. The pain they gave me after filling was never gone and its worse than ever. Its been nearly 2 years since I had a filling and from that time I could hardly chew anything. I wasted almost $2,000 to destroy my tooth. Never going there again.
