Very disappointed I came to see a small strip of old Arrowtown with its beautiful shops. Instead all I saw were cars parked up both sides. Couldnt take a photo of what used to be a unique part of New Zealand because there were cars. I tried to find a painting without cars in pictures, but unfortunately and so sad artists now have to include cars. With parking only 100 meters away on river side why would you allow it is beyond me. Very disappointed and probably wont be back. As for recommendations I would say Arrowtown has been spoiled by cars and charm had gone instead visit Cromwell old town.
