        DURRY HILLS MOTEL was truly a terrible experience. Set in beautiful Wanaka, regrettably the people who own and operate Durry Hills Motel were extremely unprofessional. My recommendation, simply LOOK ELSEWHERE for accommodation in Wanaka.

        We made reservations to stay at Durry Hills in Wanaka. We arrived only to find the accommodation cost had DOUBLED now that we had arrived at their door. It was really difficult with a whole family and children with nowhere to go in the middle of our summer vacation. They didn't care about our reservation which I showed them. We had booked months in advance to have a well prepared and organised holiday. I really wish I had read the reviews on Durry Hills in Wanaka prior to booking, we could have saved our family, children so much difficulty and heartache so many miles from home.
