We sent 4 of our guests on the tour and they all had a ball. Very interpretive. They came back with lots of stories. Thank you for teaching our visitors about our area. They also loved planting the lance wood.

Completed a half day island trip with a little hike with Chris today and it was excellent. Chris knowledge and passion for his work and the environment absolutely shines through and makes the tour great. After a short boat trip across the lake we docked at an island and walked the mile or so to the hilltop lake and then a couple of view points. Some stunning views, opportunities to see weta and weka and Chris talked us through a host of the flora and forms. Definitely do this if you are staying in Wanaka. Excellent.

The Eco Wanaka Adventures half day tour of Wanaka lake's largest island Mou Waho is a must do trip. We were collected from our hotel at Edgewater Resort and driven to the Wanaka Lake Jetty. We were met by our guide Andy along with only a small group of fellow nature lovers. We were soon speeding across the lake to Mou Waho island. This island is a beautiful place and has been transformed over the years back to it's native environment. We walked slowly up to the summit stopping regularly to check out the flora and fauna along with the amazing native birds even a gecko. The views are out of this world. What a unique view at the top. A lake on an island on a lake on an island!! Our guide made this walk very special as he passed on his knowledge of the island habitat. What struck me most was the beauty and peace of this incredible place. Eco Wanaka Tours even provided hot drinks and cookies which we enjoyed on the summit. Overall a highlight of our New Zealand trip.
