Pure Journeys

Natalie DeCaro did a FANTASTIC job for us, planning a 3 week trip for a family of four, with less than one week notice, during high season! She was responsive, patient, flexible, and absolutely amazing. It's rare for someone to listen and respond so well to our (sometimes unique) needs. We booked our own international flights and initial hotel, and she arranged for two car rentals, the ferry from the North to South Island, a train, and various activities. In addition, she booked the remainder of our hotels exactly the way we asked--mixing some unusual (e.g. tree house) luxury accommodations with some unusual and quirky (e.g. train car) accommodations, and even the best location in Queenstown (Novotel) when nearly everything I searched for was sold out. She also provided some great recommendations of activities to pursue on our own, restaurant ideas, and even helped rearrange our itinerary when our son fell ill and needed medical care. I can't say enough positive things about her!

Victoria Parrack and the folks at Pure Journeys did an outstanding job with our trip to New Zealand's south island. Wife and I took the 6 day North Island package. Pure Journeys customised it for us in a matter of minutes, both before the trip and during. The trip itself was sensational. Every hotel was phenomenal, we requested an ad-hoc update to the rental car which was accommodated quickly and easily. Their app was surprisingly comprehensive and listed tons of suggested activities which was exactly what we needed. Customer service was absolutely top notch. We did the New Zealand Odyssey and had a fantastic experience. Louise at Pure Journeys was wonderful and adjusted the holiday to suit us. Everything ran like clockwork, and was absolutely perfect. Not a thing went wrong for our entire 27 day holiday. Every place we stayed was fantastic. I would highly recommend pure journeys as they organised everything and nothing was too much trouble!! We had the ability to contact them anytime to ask questions/advice. The holiday was just so perfectly organised and we had the best time ever.

We decided to celebrate our wedding with the Pure Journeys New Zealand Odyssey... What an incredible honeymoon! We seriously had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend Pure Journeys, and Hayley Furze specifically, to anyone heading over to New Zealand. It was awesome to have such a detailed itinerary and information pack which left us with clear instructions but enough wiggle room to take things at our own pace and pick and choose what we wanted to experience. While the itinerary was really impressive, easy to follow and made sure that we got to stay in the perfect locations in cities and towns around NZ, the real stand-out feature of this package for me was the support. When the weather ruined our chances of crossing the straight via ferry, Hayley was on top of things by giving us plenty of notice, and booking in replacement flights over the phone with no hassle what so ever. What would've been a disaster if I was in charge (I wouldn't even have known to check if the ferry was still sailing) was instead a seamless adjustment that actually sped us up. Similarly, when weather cancelled our glacier heli-hike experience, Hayley was all over it making sure we had the best possible chance of getting up there. In the end, the weather never gave us that chance, but Hayley's management of the whole situation was appreciated none the less, and we were able to make up for it elsewhere. Thanks again Hayley, Pure Journeys and New Zealand in general for a truly awesome celebration of our marriage!
