Wanaka Wine Tours

We had such a great time on our wine tour with John! He was so hospitable and really made the whole day enjoyable. The wineries were excellent and lunch was a great surprise! Would highly recommend if youre staying in Wanaka!

I can say for sure the wine tour with John was the highlight of my Wanaka trip. Along with the other group of 3, we drank, talked, laughed and spent for half a day, but the time skipped by. John shared fascinating stories of his life and intriguing facts of each region and vineyard as we went by. We felt safe and well treated along the whole trip; had no worries of getting drunk but only of emptying our wallets from taking back too many red and white souvenirs. If you have any slight interest in wine or even just love to drink, definitely join the tour. Lunch was fabulous as well, everything from the rides to vines, glasses to platters; the tour was excellent. Thanks and I will be definitely back with my parents or friends.

A great half day with 4 wineries included. Very generous tastings and friendly, personable tour guide (Wayne) along with the winery staff. Wooing Tree lunch platter was delicious and generous. Great wines and a good selection of vineyards included. Our only gripe was it was on the pricy side.

We had a lovely time exploring the different vineyards with our tour guides. They had lots to say about the area and knew a lot about each of the vineyards we visited. I'd highly recommend going on a tour!
