        (Translated by Google) The Dunedin Law Courts were designed by John Campbell and opened in 1902. The building contains four courtrooms - the High Court in particular is richly decorated - and offices and library of the Law Society. The Queen Anne-style architecture is modeled after London's Scotland Yard building (now the Norman Shaw Buildings). The dark stones are breccias, the light ones are limestones (both from north Dunedin). (Original) Die Dunedin Law Courts wurden von John Campbell entworfen und 1902 erffnet.
