        Ive been in New Zealand for two and a half months and have been to over 30 breweries and bought beer in countless grocery/liquor stores and havent been IDd once, because Im 30 years old and I dont look anywhere close to 18. The cashier here wouldnt sell me beer because I didnt have my passport and I wasnt going to walk 25 minutes back to where it was at to get it. Absolutely ridiculous. I had my ID from the states, which isnt valid here for buying alcohol, but still, its something. I havent even been IDd in the states for years because again, I dont look anywhere close to 18. Use your common sense, it doesnt take a genius.
