        The best place I have stayed in Dunedin. I come to Dunedin every couple of years and will definitely book into beechwood again. Walkability: Very central to city and botanical gardens. Walked to great coffee and places of interest

        I booked the compact room.Yes it's small but that's what compact is. The room is very clean and comfortable. I love the delicious smelling body wash and lotion. I would absolutely recommend this motel. Sue

        This is absolutely the best hotel I have ever visited during my whole trip in New Zealand. The room was spotless clean, spacious, and the location is great. The host was really friendly and helpful, and I was allowed to store the luggage in the office for a few hours after checkout so that we could walk around the botanic garden. I will definitely visit here again next time!
