Hair Raiser Tours

We had the honour of doing all three tours run by Andrew. They were all thoroughly entertaining and packed full of information about the old Dunedin and it's inhabitants. Our favourite would have to be the Southern Screamer tour and it really delivered the screams. We would recommend the tours to anyone interested in cemeteries, or discovering a different side of Dunedin's history.

Our guide, Andrew, had a wealth of historical information gleaned over many years of professional experience. He also related numerous anecdotes of the ghostly experiences of tour guests, including experiences on the tour. Andrew is a true entertainer, and stylishly wears period dress. A most caring and considerate guide. His tours are a, must do, in Dunedin and his books are delightful.

Oh wow! What a fun night we had! We did a lovely walk around the city with Andrew taking us down some dark alleyways and hidden dark corners for the spooky history of the city. It was fascinating stuff. Andrew came dressed for the part and was so impressive. I highly recommend this as part of your must do list. You wont see the city in the same light. I get goosebumps thinking of it!
