The Thomas Green Public House & Dining Room

Lovely restaurant, all of the main meals were delicious and cooked to perfection. Sadly two of the desserts were not presented how they were described on the menu - The Pavlova was just a shell and more like a meringue and the Authentic Spanish Bunuelos which are described as a fried dough fritter simply looked like deep fried wonton wrappers covered in sugar and cinnamon which was disappointing as there was nothing doughy about them. Great service and meals but the desserts were a let down. :)

Really impressed with the food and service. The tempura squid was delicious and the beef wellington an absolute treat. Despite being short staffed, it they were quick and accommodating. A little disappointed in the venison salad as rocket was substituted for cabbage and mesclun and goats cheese basically non existent which didn't represent the price. Vegetarian options: Amazing cauliflower steaks
