This is the kind of place you come to get away from it all. It was surrounded by spacious farmlands so it was very peaceful, serene and quiet to stay there. Pete's family pet, Taco the cat, was super friendly and seem to like hanging around new people. As Pete and his partner, Emily, run an animal rescue as well, there was also a small herd of goats that we could interact with. Jack's probably the most handsome goat I had seen and their leader, Vincent, really enjoyed having his horns brushed. There was also a "mental" paradise duck running amok which added to the charm of the place. The accommodation was a small container type tiny house that despite its compact size, was nicely appointed and self-contained. I could even make a nice avocado toast with the microwave oven and toaster - my breakfast with an amazing view. There's a ton of outdoor space you can hang out at though. Some things to note: - This is more of a retreat kind of space, so there is no wifi available. - Stock up on your supplies at Kingston first as there is not much amenities in the immedia area since they are mainly farmlands. - Do remember to turn off the lights at night if you want to open the door, or you will enjoy the company of moths and other insects which are naturally attracted to the light source. - Due to its orientation, there is a bit of the afternoon sun. So do draw the curtains if you are going away for the afternoon or the space may get a bit warm.
