Hot coffee was not bad, but a bit expensive. Ice coffee was normal priced but was disappointing as it was just a coffee shot on ice with a splash of milk

Saw this restaurant/cafe while walking towards Rakiura charters & Water taxi. . Its next to the Bunkhouse Theatre and in front of Rakiura Museum. You cant miss it! There were a number of people there having food and coffee (at the tables outside) so we had a look at the menu. The popular restaurants were already booked and the fish and chips shop we wanted to try was not yet open. There were a few pastries and desserts available at the counter, but we ordered a more filling meal before our walk. The wood fired Turkish bread sandwiches with avocado salad was enough to sustain us until late afternoon. I had the ham&cheese sandwich and my partner had the hummus and seeds option. Both were delicious! Coffee and tea was good too. Pay wave is available. Highly recommended.
