Jensen Bay House

I wanted a peaceful place to stay and this looked like it so booked and paid in full by bank transfer as required. Then Manfred said they have an open house on New Year's eve with people coming in and out and possibly a beach party weather dependent. I told him I wished he was upfront and told me this before I paid him as I had other choices. I wanted a quiet place. He then offered me a refund which was the decent thing to do. But 2 weeks later I still haven't seen my money back despite chasing up. At $315 per night for 4 nights, it's a significant sum of money this close to Christmas. This is also significantly higher than the $195 pn advertised on the website so beware people when booking. If only Manfred was upfront to start with, we could have both saved ourselves this hassle.

We absolutely loved staying at Jensen Bay House, the hosts Emma, Manfred and Raquera are super helpful. They went above and beyond to make our stay special. The upstairs room is perfect for a couple. Youll get to see plenty of Kakas at the house too. The hosts helped us with transfers to the ferry, with getting to Ulva Island and where to see penguins at night. Thank you from Rich and Tim!
