What a great place. Best advice for fly fishing you can get and great range of gear for Australian and New Zealand conditions at very reasonable prices. Their New Zealand trips are unbelievable too. Couldn't be happier with the guides and the fish caught. Great accommodation and catered wonderfully by the lovely Deb. Thanks for a great experience Gavin Hurley. You are THE man for fly fishing

Friendly knowledgeable staff that are willing to go the extra. They just want people to enjoy fishing and will give all their knowledge and secrets away to help people catch fish. Great selection of gear and no where else you need to go to find everything you could need. Best fishing shop in NZ.

Probably the best fly fishing shop in New Zealand! Huge selection of gear, flies, rods, reels, waders and all thi g's fly fishing. They also have their own range of rods which seem really good and at various price points depending on budget and need. Seem to stock pretty much the full range of Simms gear. I like that they also have a lot of moderately priced & budget alternatives as its a bit tiring going into other shops and it being all Simms gear which let's face it is expensive e.g. Sunglasses sunder $100, fishing gloves $29. Absolutely massive selection of flies and probably the cheapest you will find 8n store! Then they further discount if you get $100 worth! Well done guys if only the store wasn't so far from civilisation - I know you would say Oreti and Mataura are best fishing in New Zealand but there's plenty other amazing water and Lumsden is well off most people's residence or holiday route. Lucky they have online shopping - cheers!
