        We loved this beautifully olden days decorated hotel! Our group of 8 did a lucky dip with the keys so two couples were the lucky users of an ensuite! The key locker system on the front door worked perfectly. The kitchen downstairs was spacious and provided extras as a bonus. Although we stayed only for one night on our Around the Mountains cycle trail, we'd loved to have stayed longer. We enjoyed chatting with Melanie and wish her and Ralph all the best with the Royal Mail Hotel and the bar soon to open. To see the end result of the renovations (and have a drink) we'd come back! From the Bay of Plenty group of friends. Noteworthy details: Secure storage for bikes.
