Absolutely YUCK!. $7 worth of bland, doughy batter! Fish it's self was dry and stringy...even looked freezer burned. Do the boats at the wharf catch frozen fish?

I recently ordered a burger from Bayside takeaway and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. The burger was extremely bland and lacked any flavor or seasoning. It seemed as though it was cooked without any salt or other spices and even may have been a frozen beef paddie. Even the toppings were underwhelming and didn't add any extra flavor to the burger. Overall, I was very disappointed with the quality of the burger and the lack of effort put into making it. I hope that the restaurant can take this feedback constructively and improve their recipe to ensure that their customers have a better experience in the future.

Do not recommend eating here. Fish burger was huge, fish was old and stale like it had been sitting out all day to dry. Tough and chewy and smelling of strong fish odor. Would have to be the worst ive had in NZ. Maybe try gardening as a business?! Fish and chips is not your thing guys sell up.
