Frasers Beach

I believe this is not only the southern most lake in Fiordland but possibly in New Zealand as well. I love this spot and it is not only breathtaking but very quiet. This place attracts very few visitors and that is one of the glorious aspects of this location. It is one of the best lakes in the country if I am being completely honest as it has a very private feeling to it. This is also the location of the Doubtful Sound Cruises which I am still yet to go on, one days perhaps! Anyway, I highly recommend Lake Manapouri for scenery and peacefulness.

Nice calm scenery to spend an evening watching the sun. Benches are there too if u wanna have a seat. U may drive ur vehicle too along the beach

Nice views of the mountains and Lake Manopouri from Frasers Beach. Access to Beach via multiple points along Frasers Beach Road, which is a gravel road. Quite secluded and not many people were there when we visited. Picnic tables scattered along the beach for use

Nice beach close to town. Best when no wind / offshore wind else can be a bit cold or rough. Incredible views and amazing reflections of the mountains when no wind.
