Have sent two driveshafts to turn tru this year and both times they have let the customer down. Quoting jobs then coming in 3x over quotes is absolutely ridiculous, the first time I genuinely believed they had trouble but the 2nd shaft was a very simple job and now realise there is a trend happening here. Definitely will not be using turn tru again shame the change of ownership has resulted in poor and unhonest service

Stay away. Bad workmanship, expensive, misses deadlines. Generally not nice to deal with. We used Turntru to modify a driveshaft to suit a racecar we were building. We were quoted a huge price, which we accepted as we were told TurnTru was great. Sadly they were not. The driveshaft was supplied late and took a few calls to get it sent back to us, just in the nick of time for a race meet. When we got it in the car we had a huge vibration at the first race meet and several vibration related failures including a snapped power feed terminal off the alternator, a fracture through the alternator bracket, and a sheared bolt on the gearbox drive flange which in turn destroyed the reverser on our new TTi gearbox. $$$ We sent it back to TurnTru as advised. They reported that the driveshaft was out of balance, they re-balanced it and sent it back to us. No apologies. We put it back in the car to find the problem still existed at the next race meeting and we did a bunch more damage, alternator bracket, sump etc. We then sent the drive shaft to a company in Hamilton (ATL Balancing and Driveline for anyone looking for a GREAT company they are perfect) They informed us that the driveshaft was 20 grams out of balance and didn't look like ANY effort had been made to balance it by TurnTru. The guys in Hamilton, balanced the driveshaft, spoke to us on the phone and sent it same day. Cost of $150bucks including freight. We chucked it in the car and it was vibration free & perfect. Just like it should have been from the start. My advice, don't ever use TurnTru :)
