Last Light Lodge

My husband and I stayed at the Last Light before we set out on the Humpridge, and had a great experience. Our dinner might have been one of the best meals we have had, the lamb was cooked perfectly. Our room had everything we needed and the bed was very comfy, our only suggestion would be the addition of a curtain over the frosted glass door. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely be staying again. Thank you.

This unique lodge was one of the best places we have ever stayed in. We stayed two nights before and after the Hump Ridge track tramp and couldn't have wished for anything better. As for the meals, wow, they were out of this world all cooked by Craig and the team. Amazingly produce was all grown in their magnificent vegie garden and orchard. This accommodation is a credit to the town, cleanliness, service and a casual chat about life is all part of this experience. Well done and keep up the good work.

This was a last minute decision to stay here, we were supposed to be in Invercargle forever this was a happy find since original accommodation fell through. The owners were able to accommodate is very last minute. The rooms were very comfortable, nice and clean facilities. Our son enjoyed the chicken and ducks feeding in the morning and all the family pets were lovely to see around the place. A gem of a place on our way up to Te Anau
