        This place is amazing. It's about a fifteen minute walk from the supply bay parking lot through a lovely forest with massive fern tree's. The beach itself is small and remote with a great view of the lake that you won't usually see from other shores.         Orchid Beach (after the native Orchids that grow there) is a accessible from the Supply Bay Parking Area or around the Shore by Kayak. a nice place for a Lunch Break with a amazing Panorama View of the Main Body of Lake Manapouri not seen from the Road. Once used as a National Parks Summer Program destination. Interesting Rock Formations in the Forest as well. BE AWARE ROUTE NOT MAINTAINED OFTEN
