Drive from Queenstown to see this place as it looked amazing. Arrived 10am. Paid for parking ... um what to do. Went to jewellery store across the road. They said he was there yesterday. Hours vary. I noted the annoying hours detail on the door was for fun but it was frustrating. Had to go and spend my money elsewhere. Was a dissappointment as was told it would be a memorable place to visit. If you are only open certain hours please put them on the door AND google. Google said you were open. WRONG!

This must be seen, it can not be described, go upstairs, there are 3 stories, the history within this building is incredible. I didn't buy anything, but I would have paid to experience this collection and the building. Unique, almost an Alice in Wonderland vibe. A step back in time to another world. I read the reviews about the owner, he was friendly to us and told us stories about treasures he has sold over the years. He is in his 80s and full of passion for his collection.
