        I have stayed at the Grand Hotel, and dinned there many times in the 1960's & 70's. Recently, just for a treat, I thought I'd book the royal suit for one night. However, I was quite disturbed by the presence of very unsavoury people entering and exiting the hotel and decided not to enquire about my booking. My five star rating is for the 1960's and 70's.
