I had my AA 14 point safety check at Torpedo7 and they just fooled me. The website lists all the things they should check and service: Gears Chain (includes lubrication) Brakes (includes alignment) Bolt Headset Brake Pads Derailleur Chain Wear Pulleys / Jockey Wheels Chainrings & Cassette Tyres Hubs Housing & Cables Spokes Straight to the point: they did nothing on my bike. I took it one hour after EXACTLY as it was before (not even a lub was used on it). Worse: when I took it to Torpedo7 I knew in advance it had two major issues. One I imagined by the list it wouldn't be serviced - my suspension is locking itself during use; but the other is related to brakes alignment and they should have done something. To sum up, they just told me when I went back for the bike "it's all good, you're ready to go" and gave the bike to me. Then I talked to the guy about the issues and he said he didn't notice anything wrong with the brakes and he would send a video to the brand asking about the suspension because he had never seen that before. We recorded the video with the suspension locking itself and here I am, two weeks later and no news at all. I feel like they're just fooling me, honestly. It was pretty clear they didn't care to check the bike at all because it was through AA partnership, which means I don't have to pay directly to Torpedo7, it's included in my membership.
