What a great place!!!! Make sure you have plenty of time (weeks). It is a great base to experience all parts of the lower south island without the crowds. I have been here numerous times and the hospitality is incredible. If you enjoy walks without crowds and hosts that are not overlooking your every move, this is a must stay. I would advise bringing plenty of time and you will have the time of your life!!!!!
