Very Disappointed in todays experience, if you are going to work in catering then learn to smile!. Coffees although takeaway were horrible.

My "local". Truly the best coffee in NP. Large mug, piping hot, snappy, (in a good way), service. Problem is: they seem to have fallen off the map. Previously were shown about 200 metres from actual location, with a street view of the adjacent flood protection groynes. C'mon Google; many locations and street views in "The Valley" shopping area need correction.

Ordered lunch. Hubbie's was good (only good). Asked for a burger without lettuce which is how it came. I asked for a toasted sandwich on wheatmeal bread (which the lady told me they had), it arrived on white bread and hardly toasted (a few lines of colour, the rest still white). Brought it back up to the counter and told the lady this is not what I had ordered and that it was NOT toasted. Also the cheese had been 'slapped' on and I visibly couldn't see ANY pineapple! When it was returned to me, it was 'thrown' down in from of me with a very snide remark 'is that toasted enough for you'. It was VERY plain to see that the waitress didn't like being asked to redo my toastie. After one bite, I left it as it was horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!! Noted that the table in front of us (6 people) had their meals except for one who had to approach the counter to ask where her meal was! On a table by the window, one of the couple had their coffee finished before the other person's milk shake arrived! This is our second time in this cafe as we thought 'give it another go' (first experience wasn't good either) but with the service, attitude and bad food, we won't be going there again. I hope you take some of these comments on board. At least give your staff some customer training and the chef (if they can be called that) a talking to!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
