Taranaki Relocations review BEWARE! This company packed and moved my home. When I got to the new house I realized that I had mainly paid for paper. They stuffed the boxes with paper so that I was charged for storage of a lot more possessions than I actually had. I had to leave it in storage at 550 a month to build a shed to fit everything. I do wonder if I would have needed it if it was boxed properly. I had 26 boxes from my garden shed, that wouldnt even fit into it. When unboxed there were things that didnt even need to be boxed. It broke down to 13 boxes to be restacked. Another example was a large box that was stuffed with the rubbish of the end of tapes etc with a cushion on top. A large box with about 10 cups and things from the kitchen cupboard. When I contacted the owner he said the guy that did most of it is no longer working there, as if that makes a difference. He also said he would pick up the rubbish if I wanted. That was the solution he offered, pick up the empty tape rolls that were packed and sent to me. He went on to say that there were a couple of extra boxes or things he had to store for free because they went over the area quoted. In other words nothing, go away we already have your money. Here are some boxes when I started to unpack. The spare area was where all the paper was to fill it up. So please be aware, especially when considering using the packing and storing options. Never again.

We highly recommend this company. From our first phone call with Gerry, to Dave coming our to my mothers house to give us a quote, to the delivery with BJ and Tim, the service was outstanding. Friendly, efficient, reliable, great communication at all times. And they were wonderful with my elderly Mum having to move from her home, and her hometown, they worked with care and understanding. Used Taranaki Recloations to move from South Taranaki all the way up to Kaitaia. They were absolutely fabulous. Super friendly, efficient and flexible with lockdowns happening around our move. A really great price for moving such a huge distance. I cannot recommend them highly enough. So very happy.
