This is always a good walk, 4.8km, 48 traps every 100m to the plateau.

So many steps, but its worth it. Would recommend taking it easy on the way up as otherwise its quite frustrating.

It's a tough 7-8km of near-constant stairs going up, but with a great boardwalk track that's easy to follow. I find the stairs a bit monotonous but I appreciate the boardwalk protects the environment which is the main thing. Shame about the weather, no views or reflection in the tarn for me.

Tarns were cool, shame it was a bit windy so we couldn't get the reflection photos. They need to have someone up there watching it though because so many people disrespect it and stand off the trail and on the tarns, ended up asking a couple people to respect the signs so more people can enjoy it in person, not just their Instagram fans.
