        Parking is at Lake Mangamahoe, big parking area. Is an easy walk from carpark to the lookout area where you get awesome view of Mt Taranaki on cloud free day.

        Mt Egmont also known as Mt Taranaki this is a beaut place on a fine day with views to Mt messanger and Mt Ruapehu.

        Mt Taranaki Lookout is the easiest way to have the picturesque views of the beautiful mountain. It is a painter's paradise, because you get the scenic combination of the mountain, water and the surrounding trees. It is a perfect place for children to ignite the passion for drawings. Reaching there may be confusing the first time because the Google maps location is not accurate. Just drive till the road ends and walk towards the right hilly area.
