Beautiful hand crafted delicious chocolate, lots of different shapes, made with love also great Airbnb accommodation with cute design - chocolate, gingerbread and other sweets everywhere. Our kids loved it very much. Very peaceful place. Highly recommended!

My partner asked me if I'd like to go... What the hey.. Yeah, OK, I'll give it a go, that's what holidays are for. As a truckie, you wouldn't expect to find me in a kitchen anywhere.... BUT I THOROUGHLY ENJOYED THIS PLACE!! The 'chocolate lab' was adorned in the most lovely lollie colours. Inside and out. It instantly appealed to my sense of creativity and suggested upon first viewing, I was in for a special, memorable couple of hours. I wasn't disappointed. I had a great time, rummaging through countless molds to find the ones I wanted to use. Next I was taught how to melt chocolate in my own lil chocolate making machine, child sized but perfect for the job. After a quick course in flavoring, colouring, lil yummie additions and pouring by the resident Professor of Chocology, I began. Two hours seemed to pass quickly but I achieved quite a bit, all I wanted. When not getting helpful hints from our knowlegible host, the chatting and general banter was great. From a non biased viewpoint, this was the best chocolate I've ever eaten and left with quite a heavy bag of my own creations. This is one of NZ's rural gems, please stop, you wonted be disappointed, bring your children its a lot of fun
