Wonderful trek with Lisa in the Taranaki Hills. Lisa is an excellent guide and horsewoman, and adapted the trek to suit the conditions and our abilities. It's refreshing to be able to catch your horse and prepare it for the ride before you hop on. There was so much space that my daughter could zoom around cantering up hills enjoying the freedom. Lisa's horses are well trained so I could hang back at a more sedate pace when I wanted to without worry. It was the highlight of our week!

I recently took my daughter to Pukatea Hill Horses for her first horse trek. The whole experience was absolutely awesome and both myself and my daughter thoroughly enjoyed our ride and the time we got to spend with the horses. Lisa was so welcoming and really personalised the ride to our experience and needs. Lisa's property was so beautiful and her horses were so well looked after. 100%would recommend to anyone
