        We went on a Saturday afternoon at 2:40ish and low tide was at 10-11am. We thought we would miss but it wasn't too bad. The beach walk was still possible with 2 spots were we had to walk through ankle deep water. We spent 30mins from the parking to back, with the water rising in those spots to shin level only. There were some people still at the beach making it to the sea where 3 sisters could be seen. The walk to 3 sisters from the parking is actually calm backwaters. We feared the walk would rise quickly so didn't go the 3 rocks but saw it from a meters distance. Beautiful black sand gave an awesome playtime for my preschooler
