The Baking company

I'm a regular at the Baking Co mainly due to the awsum friendly staff & great coffee! But after today, I'm not sure if it'll be my Stratty go-to in the weekend anymore. The amazing Darci welcomed & served me. We chatted for a few minutes when she wasn't busy, as we always do & I welcomed it. But the kitchen lady, who is apparently the boss, told her to stop being lazy & useless & to stop talking to me... Wow?! Unbelievable! Darci, along with all the other staff, are nothing but hardworking & professional, even when short-staffed & busy as, whenever I'm there & only stop to talk to me when they're not busy. This is not how you treat staff, nor customers, especially regulars. I will be reconsidering where I get my coffee from now.

A mixed bag, we went to the Broadway store twice, 1st time beautiful food and great customer service, and yesterday went again and encountered a snotty nosed rude young girl at the counter and food not fresh, won't go back there again

Highly recommend the kiwi classic sausage roll. It's so good and worth every cent. Please Baking Co keep this one on the menu!

Stopped in at the main street store to pick up some biscuits for a meeting today. Waited 5 minutes at the counter without being acknowledged, despite 3 or 4 staff walking past me. Gave up in the end and walked out. No point stopping here again.
