        Tracy and I stayed at Regan House on two separate nights before and after a great bushwalk on Mt Taranaki. Judith and Wayne are the most charming hosts and we loved the conversation over a tasty breakfast. The room was delightful, the gardens brilliant. It was lovely of our hosts to help us by keeping some of our luggage while we hiked, and completely did not expect the laundry service. I would so recommend Regan House to anyone looking for a great and relaxing place to stay.

        Judith gave us a warm welcome after a very wet and windy journey! Her house is a beautiful heritage style home, and our room was quite spacious and well appointed with a very comfy bed with good quality linen, a fridge and plates, and cutlery for snacks. If the weather had allowed, there's also a pretty verandah outside the room. Parking is easy and close to the ground floor rooms. Our breakfast was delicious despite a mix-up over serving time. Judith was generous with her time, and we had an interesting chat over breakfast. Highly recommended
