        Super quick service!! I was in and out again in a minute and the lady I had doing my bloods was super friendly!

        This is my 4th time visiting this centre and usually average but today Ive had it. Got there and the male nurse was standing outside smoking a cigarette, the wait was long but that wasnt the issue. I was shocked to see that this male nurse was actually a nurse as he looked untidy and not very clean. So be it that he calls my name - already Im upset but go inside - he checks all my details and take my blood (NO GLOVES, EXTREMELY DIRTY BITTEN FINGER NAILS AND I didnt see him removing any needles out if a sealed pack! I wouldnt usually said something, but I was so shook by what I was seeing that I couldnt speak. I pray to God that he took care and didnt use someone elses needle on me. His name was Abie or Andy (cant remember but something with an A). Im extremely disappointed and upset about this. In this healthcare system everyone have to take care - safety is the main priority! He also lifted the needle as he was taking it out and my arm is almost numb and having shooting pains now through my arm. Im not happy and DHB need to take more care.
