Friendly staff made us feel so welcome when our car broke down and we had an unexpected stay in New Plymouth. Our room was immaculately clean, comfortable and well provisioned. Great location was easy walk to shops, supermarkets, bars, restaurants, Pukekura Park and foreshore walkway. Thanks a million - you have a great team, Raewyn!

After a four - five hour trip we would never recommend this place. Extremely outdated in bad need of upgrade. Bed squashed against wall with no air-conditioning in unit made for hot sleeping conditions. Before booking we asked if they had displaced people living there were told no. Booked only to find there were. They argued outside our room early hours of morning waking us up. When staff were confronted she made out they weren't then changed her mind, which caused an arguement. When we asked for a refund said no she would call the police. We asked her not to come in our room so let herself in with her key. Than told us her life history and only wanted her customers happy. Totally unprofessional and disgusted that she let herself in. The establishment was on a very nosiy street woken 4am both nights we stayed by rubbish trucks.
