        This is a nice elevation spot at Marsland Hill, shares same parking and road as that of New Plymouth Observatory. Good ~360 views of town, mountain and port.

        The bells played at noon and we walked up to see them in action. Great views to take in from sea to mountains. . Observatory in distance. Other colonial memorials in place that seemed out of date for today.
