        This cottage and property are the absolute best. Weve traveled a lot and NEVER had hosts take such good care of us or stock a rental so thoughtfully. Everything you need is there, including matching sun hats, and the welcome food in the fridge and pantry was incredible. The cozy cottage overlooks the ocean and the sunrises were amazing. Rob and Lorraines spectacularly landscaped property and their generous hospitality made us never want to leave. We will definitely be back!

        Staying at the Ruby Bay Seaview Cottage was one of the top highlights of our New Zealand honeymoon (in Oct 2019). The lovely owners surprised us with a cheese board and champagne upon our arrival, gave us a private tour of all of their lovely grounds and plants and flowers, and had delicious treats for us each morning. It's a bummer to see so many low star reviews from many people who did not stay at the Ruby Bay Seaview Cottage (perhaps they stayed at the campground down below). If you're planning a getaway to this region, I can't recommend Ruby Bay Seaview Cottage enough.
