Timber And Machining Motueka

I went to Knowles timber yard recently to buy some flitches for my kitchen benches. The man I spoke to was rude condescending and totally unhelpful. He questioned my kitchen design and said I should have a rethink, said flitches are no good for kitchen benches because they warp. He didn't offer to show me any flitches and suggested I go to Mitre 10 to buy a piece of Formica...!!!! My carpenter told me to go here to purchase flitches so I have no idea why the guy was so unhelpful. I get the feeling, that being a woman, he thought of me as stupid, with no knowledge of kitchen design. I left feeling quite upset and annoyed. The service I received was the worst I've experienced in a long time. He was patronizing, rude, condescending and totally unhelpful. I could not recommend anyone to go here.

I bought several times timber and I was always happy with price, service and product. Best is to call or drive by , as they run the office old school.
