The fish, hot dogs and chips where about normal. Quantity of chips are less than others around Richmond. The burgers where a complete let down. Burgers are suppose to be about the filling and not the bun, the bun just brings it together. Burgers lacked substance. Chicken burger had a small amount of lettuce one thin slice of tomato. My kids can do better.

Tonight I had a hankering for a burger, and not a burger from one of the common franchise chains but a REAL burger, specifically a Bacon and Egg burger. As I was heading back to Stoke from Richmond, I stopped in at Salisbury Takeaways. Obviously a popular spot, I placed my order and waited. I did not have to wait long, regardless of the queue that had formed. I ordered a half scoop of chips, a piece of fish, and a hotdog. The chips were good, and the fish was cooked perfectly. Reports from my niece were that the hotdog was one of the best she had ever had. The burger was good too, with a hand-made meat pattie, grilled nicely. Very fresh ingredients and a delicious soft bun. Good spot for a bite.

The best gluten free fish n chips I have ever tasted! Fresh, not greasy, good portion size. Will definitely be our local now. Hubby's normal gurnard was delicious too. Highly recommend. Friendly staff too

Bit disappointed, had blue cod, tasted disgusting, I assume old stock. Very poor a place has to on sell poor quality product. I could not eat. My wife also had gf blue cod, same did not taste good. We don't visit Richmond often, but will not go back here.
